Split massage is a deep, hands-on facial massage that focuses on the muscles, fascia and ligaments. It aims not only to release tension, but also to enhance the face’s appearance: more defined contours, less noticeable wrinkles and a fresh, well-rested look.
I’m Tatsiana Harelava, and I offer split facial massage at my studio at Piazza delle Erbe 37, in central Bolzano.
Habitual expressions, jaw tension, head position and age-related changes all affect the expression and contours of the face.
In a split massage, I combine deep massage techniques, fascial work, gentle tissue stretching and lymphatic drainage techniques. I pay particular attention to areas of tension, tissue mobility and muscle tone.
I tailor the techniques to your facial features, areas of tension and the changes you would like to see. My aim is to enhance your natural features while preserving what makes your face uniquely yours.
The aims of facial lifting massage
More defined facial contours. Massage of the muscles and soft tissue is intended to give the contours a firmer look.
Less noticeable lines and folds. I pay particular attention to fine lines, nasolabial folds and areas where the muscles are habitually tense.
Less puffiness. For this, I use lymphatic drainage techniques.
A fresher complexion and a well-rested look.
A relaxed face, jaw and neck. During the massage, I work on tense areas, including those where you may not notice the tension yourself.
Results vary from person to person: changes may be more or less noticeable and last for different lengths of time.
What happens during a session?
Before we begin, we talk about your wishes, your skin and any procedures you have had recently.
You lie on a massage table while I massage the face, neck and décolletage in turn, combining kneading, stretching and focused techniques. In some areas, the massage may be deeper.
Sessions last at least 60 minutes. We agree on the exact duration when you book.
How many sessions will I need?
You can start with a single session. After the first few appointments, we talk about the changes you have noticed and whether you would like to continue.
To maintain the result, we can arrange sessions every two to three weeks. This is not a fixed schedule: we agree on the frequency individually.

A split massage is a chance not only to care for your appearance, but also to notice habitual tension: how you clench your jaw, frown or tense your neck.
My aim is to bring out your natural features, not change them — for a fresher, more rested appearance that still feels like you.

Is split massage a lifting technique or a relaxation massage?
It combines both: relaxing tense muscles and enhancing the face’s appearance — its tone, contours and the visibility of wrinkles.
Does it involve injections or devices?
No, split massage is carried out by hand. However, it should not be equated with injectable treatments or a surgical facelift: these are different methods with different possibilities.
Can I book after fillers, injections or other procedures?
Before booking, please tell me which procedures you have had and when. Whether massage is appropriate, and how long you should wait, must be agreed with the professional who performed them.
Do I need to commit to a course of sessions?
No. You can book one session, experience the method and then decide whether you would like to continue.
