Structural Integration is a method that helps the body regain its natural structure, freeing itself from tensions and postural patterns accumulated over time.
Created by Dr. Ida Rolf, this approach — also known as Rolfing — combines targeted manual work with movement awareness, improving the body's alignment and functionality.
During the process, key body segments — head, shoulders, rib cage, pelvis, legs, feet — are worked on by releasing and lengthening the connective tissue called fascia.
The fascia is a three-dimensional network that runs throughout the body, enveloping muscles, bones, and organs. Over time, due to trauma, poor posture, emotional stress, or overload, this network can stiffen. By releasing fascial restrictions, the body can regain its natural balance.
Through precise and respectful touch, the fascia is treated to dissolve deep tensions and reorganize the entire body structure.
Discomfort is not simply “treated”, but dissolves thanks to the rebalancing of the whole system.
The body begins to move with more freedom, awareness, and efficiency — with less effort and greater fluidity.
