Structural Integration is a method that supports the body in rediscovering its natural structure, releasing tension and postural patterns accumulated over time.
Developed by Dr Ida Rolf, this approach — also known as Rolfing — combines targeted manual work with movement awareness, exploring the body's alignment and functionality.
During the process, work is carried out on the body's key segments — head, shoulders, ribcage, pelvis, legs and feet — through the release and lengthening of the connective tissue known as fascia.
Fascia is a three-dimensional network that runs throughout the entire body, enveloping muscles, bones and organs. Over time — through intense physical experiences, postural patterns, emotional stress or overload — this network can stiffen. By exploring fascial restrictions, the body can find its natural balance again.
Through precise, respectful touch, work is carried out on the fascia to release deep tension and reorganise the entire body structure.
Discomfort is not simply masked at the surface — it dissolves through the rebalancing of the entire system. The body begins to move with greater freedom, awareness and efficiency — with less effort and greater fluidity.
