Craniosacral approach in Bolzano

Craniosacral approach in Bolzano

Duration:
about 60 minutes
Where:
Bolzano, Piazza delle Erbe, 37

Gentle touch and an unhurried pace, for deep relaxation.

When tension builds up, it can be hard to relax, even when you finally have some time to yourself. And a vigorous massage isn’t for everyone: sometimes you simply want something softer and more delicate.

The craniosacral approach is built on light, careful touch. During the session you lie comfortably on the table, fully clothed, while I rest my hands gently at your head, sacrum or feet. No strong pressure, no vigorous kneading – just a calm pace and attention to what you are feeling.

I’m Tatsiana Harelava. I see clients at Piazza delle Erbe 37, in central Bolzano.

Duration: about 60 minutes
Sessions: by appointment only

What happens during a session

I rest my hands gently on particular areas of the body and keep them still for a while. The touch is barely perceptible, and I move from one place to the next without hurry.

You don’t need to do any exercises, change your breathing on purpose or try to feel anything in particular. You can close your eyes and let yourself unwind gradually.

At any point you can ask me to change your position, take my hands away or pause.

When the craniosacral approach may be the right choice

This session may suit you if you:

  • feel the need for deep relaxation after a demanding period;
  • prefer light touch to a vigorous massage;
  • want to slow down and step away from everyday concerns for a while;
  • are looking for a gentle approach without strong pressure or active exercises.

You don’t have to arrive with a clearly defined aim. It is enough to tell me what you feel like right now: quiet, gentle touch or deep relaxation.

How the appointment goes

First, a short conversation

We talk about how you are feeling, what you expect and anything that needs to be taken into account.

Then, the session on the table

You stay in your comfortable clothes. I use light touch, with no sudden movements and no forceful techniques.

During the session you can stay silent or tell me what you notice. There is no need to keep a conversation going if you would rather enjoy the quiet.

Finally, no rush

After the session you have time to sit up and stand in your own time and, if you wish, share how it was for you.

What you might feel

During the session you may feel warmth, lightness, drowsiness or deep relaxation. Sometimes the sensations are barely noticeable – you don’t have to experience anything vivid or unusual.

The experience is different for everyone. Warmth or a pulsing sensation is not, in itself, a sign of any therapeutic effect. And if you don’t feel anything pronounced, that doesn’t mean the touch needs to be stronger. There is no “right” reaction: what matters is what you feel.

How this differs from massage

The main difference lies in the quality of touch. In a craniosacral session I don’t knead the muscles vigorously or use deep pressure. The contact stays light and the pace slow.

If you are looking for more intensive work with the muscles and fascia, we can talk about a different option – for example, fascial work. You don’t need to make sense of all the names yourself: before booking, simply tell me what you have in mind.

Good to know before you book

In my practice I use the craniosacral approach for deep relaxation. A session is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.

If you are troubled by pain, persistent sleep problems, severe anxiety or other symptoms, it is important to see the appropriate healthcare professional.

Please let me know in advance if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, have recently had an injury or surgery, or are taking any medication. In some cases you will need to check with your doctor before the session. Do not change or stop any prescribed treatment on your own.

Whether a session is possible for a child is discussed separately. If a child has any complaints, the first step should always be the paediatrician.

Duration and booking

A session lasts about 60 minutes. You can start with a single appointment and then decide whether you would like to continue. There is no compulsory course of sessions.

I see clients by appointment at Piazza delle Erbe 37, in central Bolzano.

Message me on WhatsApp to ask about the price, choose a time or ask a question about the session.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to undress?

No, you stay fully clothed. Soft, loose clothes that are comfortable to lie down in are best.

Is the session painful?

I use light touch, with no strong pressure or vigorous kneading. If anything feels uncomfortable, tell me – I will change the touch or stop.

Do I need to prepare in any way?

No special preparation is needed; comfortable clothes are enough. Please tell me in advance about any health matters and recent medical procedures.

How many sessions do I need?

There is no fixed number. You can start with one session and then decide whether this format suits you and whether you would like to continue.
